FULL SERVICE INTERIOR DESIGN

TLB Interiors specializes in the design of full-service new construction, remodel projects, and large scale furnishing projects in Northern California and beyond. Our experienced design team is equipped to handle projects from early planning stages through to final installation. EXPRESS DESIGN PACKAGE

TLB is excited to announce that we will now be offering a smaller package of our design services. This is a great opportunity to access our signature processes, and designer furnishings on a smaller scale. Express design service is offered in 20 hour packages, with a two room minimum, and includes access to designer vendors/manufacturers. TLB will handle the purchasing and procurement for you, and can be available for local installations. This level of service typically does not include drawings or project management. Packages start at $5,000. Reach out to discuss details and pricing.

IN HOME CONSULTATIONS

Booking a 60 min in-home consultation is a great way to get professional design advice, and get to know the designers at TLB Interiors, and learn about our process. We will spend this quality time together with you walking through your home, offering advice on furniture layouts, paint colors, new window and door sizes and placement, and offer fresh ideas for your project. After our meeting, we can offer a Proposal for our design services if you wish to move forward. Local consultations start at $750.

design “power hour” zoom sessions

TLB now offers 60 minute remote design power hour sessions, via Zoom! Similar to The Expert, you can book your professional design session directly with us. You will have full access to our Principal designer Suzie Baumgartner, for a full hour to solve any of your design problems, get advice on furniture layout and scale, cabinetry, finishes, paint colors, kitchen and bathroom design ideas, and/or to review your architectural plans together. This is a valuable opportunity to make major progress on your project in a day!

THE FULL-SERVICE DESIGN PROCESS

1. Project Intake

During the initial phase, we learn about you and your project. We have an onsite consultation to discuss your goals and objectives. We determine the scope of work, your style and discuss the budget.

2. Architectural Design Development

Here we establish detailed plans of each space. When remodeling or building, we will create architectural drawings, and start developing layouts and elevations for approval.

3. Interior Design Development

This is the meat and potatoes of the project! During this phase, the style and color scheme are established. We create digital design boards for each space for your review and approval. We select your finishes, fixtures, lighting, hardware, cabinetry, wall colors or covering, window treatments, fabrics, rugs, art, and accessories. We will have a design meeting to review all of the designs, materials, and selections together.

4. Project Administration

Throughout construction, we attend regular job site meetings to review design decisions, material installations, and construction schedules. We track progress and resolve issues that may arise during the build and ensure that finished work is crafted flawlessly.

5. Procurement

Procurement begins with purchase orders for each vendor. We review each order selection for accuracy, confirm prices, lead times, and shipping and delivery details. Orders are tracked weekly, and we coordinate delivery to the house in line with the project schedule.

6. Installation

Installation begins once construction is completed. During this phase, the furniture, art, and accessories are arranged, and all of the finishing touches are completed. Your project is complete.
